At just 15, Ethan Jansen is already a passionate cook. He’s confident with a chef’s knife, adept at preparing family meals, whipping up snacks for friends, and inventing innovative recipes. Ethan is keen to show other teens how simple and enjoyable it can be to prepare delicious meals at home.

The Shared Apron Duo – Ethan and Julie

Julie believes a simple solution to the future nourishment of our kids is to give them an apron and encourage the life skill of cooking.

“Our goal was to share basic kitchen skills with those who may not have had the chance to learn before, or simply want some great ideas to create easy, delicious food “ Julie says “… and cooking at home is not just about filling bellies, but also about reconnecting with our teens”.

Expanding their knowledge about preparing food can also boost confidence and help teens connect with family and friends.

“Cooking is an important life skill that’s fun, delicious and enjoyable”.

The Shared Apron cookbook is the perfect companion for teens in the kitchen, sharing knowledge and skills with tasty recipes.
