Stolen Caravan, Coolum

NEWEST UPDATE: Police have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following the theft of a caravan in Coolum earlier this month.

Initial investigations indicate between 3.50am and 4.15am on Friday, April 7, a man gained access to a secure yard on Link Crescent by cutting a chain and a lock.

He then cut power to the CCTV cameras on site before attaching a white 2014 Jayco Starcraft caravan to a white dual cab utility.

The two vehicles were then driven out of the yard in an unknown direction.

At the time of the incident, the caravan was bearing Queensland registration 556QZN.

The utility is described as having an aluminium bull bar, two round spotlights on the front, a black snorkel with a flat tray and tool boxes attached.

Anyone with information about the man or either vehicle is urged to contact police.

OLDER UPDATE: Police are investigating the theft of a caravan which was allegedly stolen from an address on Link Crescent, Coolum, sometime between 3.50am and 4.15am on Friday, April 7.

It is alleged that an unknown man gained access into a secure yard on Link Crescent by cutting a chain lock and cutting power to the CCTV cameras on site.

It is further alleged the man hooked up the white 2014 Jayco StarCraft caravan (pictured below) to a white dual cab utility, before driving out of the yard.

At the time of the incident, the caravan was bearing Queensland registration 556-QZN.

Around these times a white dual cab utility is observed on CCTV footage at the address.

The utility can be seen to have an aluminium bull bar, 2 round spotlights on the front and a black snorkel with a flat tray that has tool boxes in it.

Armed robbery with violence, Little Mountain

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a business in Little Mountain last night, Friday April 7.

Around 10:45pm a man entered a Parklands Boulevard business armed with a metal pole and made demands for money and cigarettes from the male attendant who complied.

The man struck the attendant about the head with the pole and fled the store on foot with a sum of money and cigarettes.

The victim sustained minor injuries to the head and was transported to hospital.

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, who is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build and was wearing a dark blue hoodie, black pants and grey runners.
