Unique opportunity for food truck operators within Maroochydore CBD

SunCentral Maroochydore is offering an Expressions of Interest from mobile food trucks and vendors to take advantage of the growing business and residential population within the new Maroochydore CBD.

SunCentral City Activation Project Manager Bronwyn Adams said the open tender was a unique opportunity for local operators to be a part of a vibrant cultural hub at The MET where residents, workers and visitors gather in a central meeting point.

“The MET is a real community hub for those working and visiting the new City Centre. It has become the go-to gathering place for people to enjoy coffee, fresh air, out of office meetings, workshops and events.

“We are expecting to see an influx of people call the Maroochydore CBD home with hundreds of people from the first tranche of Council staff setting up office in the new City Hall building at the start of the new year as well as new residents moving into the recently completed Market Lane Apartments, which commenced last month.

“In early 2023 we will have an increasing worker population with the A1 commercial building set to open as well as more and more construction workers at the Barwon Private Hospital as well as the new multi-level car park.

“As the population of people working in and coming to the city grows, we want to enhance this experience of The MET as a place of connection and we believe nothing connects people better than deliciously good food,” Bronwyn said.

The tender includes a minimal fee to be onsite which includes the opportunity for regular and mid week trade and business exposure for a minimum of six months commencing in early 2023.

Submissions are now open and close at 5pm on Monday 14 November 2022. For more information visit: https://mccmetropolitan.com.au/news/food-trucks-and-vendors-eoi-now-open
