To celebrate the opening of its newest restaurant in Kawana, Motto Motto is bringing its cult favourite $1 Ramen Day event to the Sunshine Coast for the first time.
Located in the heart of Kawana, the new restaurant will host the one day only event on Saturday, 16 May 2026, offering the first 400 guests the chance to enjoy Motto Motto’s Signature Classic Tonkotsu Ramen for just $1 between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
The community celebration invites locals, families and food lovers to experience one of Motto Motto’s most popular dishes. Designed by Executive Chef Ryuji Tomihara, the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen features a rich pork bone broth, shoyu kaeshi, freshly made noodles, marinated free range soft boiled egg, fresh shallots and seaweed.
Following strong turnout at previous events across Queensland, the $1 Ramen activation has become a must attend occasion, known for drawing crowds eager to experience premium Japanese cuisine at an almost unbelievable price
The promotion is expected to draw strong foot traffic, with customers encouraged to arrive early. The offer is available while stocks last and valid for dine in and takeaway.
The event also marks an exciting milestone in Motto Motto’s continued expansion across Queensland, bringing its signature fast casual Japanese dining experience to the Sunshine Coast.
