Market Bistro lunch set to showcase locally sourced prime beef rarely available in local restaurants

Sunshine Coast diners will have the rare opportunity to enjoy Ebony Prime Black Angus beef at a special three course lunch at Market Bistro on Thursday 21 July.

Ebony Prime Black Angus is produced from carefully selected Black Angus cattle and grain finished for 120 days to deliver a perfectly marbled product with a guaranteed marble score 4+. It’s juicy, tender and brimming with flavour.

Market Bistro owner Tony Kelly said the lunch would be a unique experience for locals to enjoy high quality beef which is primarily sold to the export market.

“Ebony Prime Black Angus is unique beef and cannot be compared to anything else on the market.

“This is one of Kilcoy Global Foods premium products which is in high demand globally and rarely available in local restaurants so it’s fantastic that we can create a really special menu with this prime beef at Market Bistro.

“We have also partnered with Yalumba for this lunch and will be serving the 2017 Vintage Jansz Cuvee on arrival followed by a Barossa Grenache and a Cabernet Shiraz as well as a Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon over each course,” Tony said.

Tickets for the lunch are $139.00 per person and includes three courses and a champagne on arrival.
